CampusVital, in cooperation with the Adlershof Health Network, invites you to a digital workshop on “Yoga at Work” on Tuesday, February 17, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Experts advise that the widespread belief that regular exercise can completely offset the health risks of prolonged sitting is only partially true. Even those who are active for one hour three times a week cannot completely compensate for the negative effects of extended periods of sitting, as the active moments are offset by much longer periods of physical inactivity.
Regular “active breaks” at every workplace can provide optimal support. Give it a try.
- When your body and mind are tired from sitting for long periods of time, yoga can release new energy.
- With a gentle workout, we bring yoga to the workplace and mobilize and relax the body.
- Without breaking a sweat, flexibility is promoted and a feeling of inner peace and balance sets in.
Note: You can leave your sports outfit at home for this 30-minute active break.
