CampusVital invites you to an online lecture “Healthy sleep - Less brooding at night” (in ENGLISH) on Wednesday, October 23 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Do you often lie awake for hours on end because your thoughts keep you from sleeping?

In this 90-minute keynote speech, you will learn how you can pave the way for better sleep by effectively dealing with your own thoughts. Get to know helpful metacognitive techniques that make it easier to deal with nocturnal thought cycles in a way that promotes sleep. You will also learn interesting facts and practical tips about sleep.

“Meta - what?”, you may ask yourself. Metacognitive skills help you to spend less time overthinking, calm down better in the long term and get more sleep and rest at night.

Takeaways from the talk:

  • Recognize unfavorable, sleep-impairing thought patterns
  • Use metacognitive skills to deal with circular thought processes in a way that promotes sleep
  • Rest better in the long term and sleep more restfully
